Why do people believe that Jehovah is God, out of all the gods there are to choose from? Why Him?

What (if any) were your criterion for distiguishing the true God from a false god? Power? Number of worshipers? Ethics? Or just your upbringing? Did you even consider any other gods, or did you ume from the get-go that Jehovah was the One?
