I need some information regarding plz.......?

My boyfriend wants to enjoy ******* by me but i never did this before. I am very much concern about all the diseases that might transfer if we don't take safety steps. I have read some online articles which suggested him to wear latex condom and it also talked about me using dental dum. If he wears a condom do i still need to use dental dum?
