When does you stomach start to harden when pregnant?

I am possibly be pregnant and eager to know. I am going to test Thursday morning since my period is suppose to come friday. Though today i did experience slight twinge pains about 3 or 4x, What is that all about? I felt on my stomach and my lower abdomen is soft. So when will it get hard?
